We’re looking for a committed Assistant Head Housekeeper who takes pride in upholding high standards, leading by example, and ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

As part of the Crimson Hotels Group, you will join the housekeeping team of Holiday Inn Express London – Heathrow T5; a 300-room hotel is perfect for business or leisure stays. Our three meeting rooms accommodate up to 120 guests, ideal for corporate events, private dinners, and social gatherings.

What your day will look like?

As Assistant Head Housekeeper, you’ll support the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the department. You’ll ensure high cleanliness standards are met across the hotel, guest rooms are ready on time, and any guest requests are handled promptly. You’ll report issues via Opera and work closely with the housekeeping team, providing guidance and motivation throughout the day. You’ll also ensure health and safety policies are followed, while assisting with budget management—keeping an eye on payroll, stock control, and operational costs to maintain efficiency.

What You’ll Bring?

You’ll bring at least three years of experience in a similar housekeeping role, including a minimum of one year in an assistant or supervisory position. Your strong customer service background, IT proficiency, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills will support you in leading the team effectively. With a hands-on approach and a positive attitude, you’ll motivate and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards and create memorable experiences for every guest.
