The Difference You’ll Make:


As our Key Account Manager, you’ll be working with customers within the UK motorcycling market; including manufacturers/product wholesalers/distributors/along with event organisers.

The role will involve identifying customers’ marketing/advertising needs and goals using a consultative approach to provide the right commercial solutions (across digital/print/events) to match their marketing and business objectives, in line with market/title strategy.

This role comes with a hybrid working model, so you'll be required to work 2 days in our Peterborough office, some days on the road and others working from home.

Your Role:

1. Achieving revenue and yield targets - supports other team members at every opportunity with this process
2. Accurate personal forecasting - supports other team members at every opportunity with this process
3. Growing customers spend by managing existing customers and creating new opportunities
4. Drives own activity levels, arranging and setting a key number of face-to-face client meetings based on customer numbers
5. Ownership of a set number of ‘Key’ accounts within your market - determined by spend and brand authority
6. Understanding market conditions and competitive forces
7. Understanding and delivering additional advertising solutions based on trends within the industry
8. Keeping accurate customer records using internal CRM system
9. Leading and contributing to sales/brand/market/editorial meetings
10. Is the face of the market being represented – is the key link between our key accounts and our editorial/marketing teams
11. Supporting brand specific Key Account staff and telesales managers within Bauer Direct by sharing knowledge and key insights into set market
12. Compliance with relevant data protection guidelines


The Skills You’ll Bring:

13. Digital media sales experience
14. Experience in selling across print/digital/events
15. Commercial understanding
16. Interest and understanding in the motorcycling market
17. Able to identify new revenue opportunities
18. Stays on trend to deliver up to date customer solutions
19. Proficiency in technological such as a CRM system
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Best in class presentation skills
22. Open minded and positive
23. Able to manage time effectively
