Job Title: Assistant Bid Writer
Willmott Dixon has an exciting new opportunity for two Assistant Bid Writers to join our London & East construction business. These roles are vital to supporting our business growth strategy and ensuring that our win team continues to secure new projects within the region.
Our main office is in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and we deliver projects across multiple sectors within north London, the northern home counties, and East Anglia. This will be a hybrid role.
Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting and coordinating proposal teams to produce winning submissions. You will support the submission of consistent, high-quality, engaging proposals that delight our customers.
The Project
You will support the win strategy and coordinate proposal content. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with research into appropriate proposal opportunities.
2. Overseeing relevant portals and ensuring submissions are made in line with deadlines.
3. Acting as a key contact for internal teams regarding proposal content creation.
4. Coordinating timely responses for proposal content from relevant team members.
5. Collaborating with graphic design colleagues to coordinate presentation of submissions.
6. Supporting multiple projects and teams in producing quality bids.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
* Understanding of different proposal processes.
* Strong written communication skills and degree qualification.
* Working towards or holding a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification.
* APMP membership and accreditation.
