Supply Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications, and school expectations. Pay is aligned with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
Teach Now is looking for a reliable and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across Finchley, Barnet. This is a great opportunity for a Supply Teaching Assistant who wants flexible work, local placements, and experience across a range of year groups.
About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll work on a day-to-day and short-term basis across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You may support whole-class learning, run small group boosters, or provide 1:1 support, including for pupils with SEN.
Key Responsibilities
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with pupils in small groups or 1:1
• Deliver interventions and boosters in core subjects
• Support children with SEN where needed
• Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
Requirements
• Experience working in UK primary schools
• Knowledge of EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Flexible, proactive, and confident approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Right to work in the UK
