Sales Project Manager
We are looking for someone to join our small team based in Ripon.
Do you have a natural sales flair and enjoy talking to people and building relationships? if so, this is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding company that was established in 2012 and has grown rapidly since it was founded. The business operates primarily as a publishing house, and also organises various industry awards.
Main duties of the role:
* Consistently deliver and exceed agreed sales targets, revenue goals, and project deadlines.
* Proactively identify, source, and convert high-quality sales leads into long-term, profitable customers.
* Develop commercially driven features and opportunities in collaboration with the magazine Editor to maximise revenue opportunities.
* Be accountable for ROI across the Magazine sales activities and events attended
* Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships to ensure retention, growth, and customer satisfaction.
* Regularly read and analyse our publications to build a deep understanding of editorial content, audience needs, and commercial opportunities
* Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and align solutions that deliver measurable value
* Represent the brand at key industry events and networking opportunities converting interactions into new business opportunities.
* Leverage LinkedIn and other digital platforms to engage with existing and prospective clients, ensuring continuous visibility of the brand.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities to inform sales strategies and identify new revenue streams.
* Regularly review brand positioning and develop innovative commercial initiatives to keep ahead of the competition.
What we are looking for:
Skills:
· You will ideally have experience working within a business development, account management, or new business role for a minimum of one year. Have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Full-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £28,000 per annum
