About Us
The Access to Information Team processes Subject Access Requests and other Individual Rights on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council. We are a customer focused team which is part of the Councils Law and Governance Service.
About the Role
Working on both paper and electronic files, you will liaise with council departments to gather and prepare information for release to the requester. You will correspond with requesters; you will also hold discussions with council staff up to senior level.
A key requirement of the role is to work within the timescales and requirements laid down within the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and ensure that the Council meets its statutory duties and responsibilities.
About you
Attention to detail, experience and knowledge of social care and of Data Protection and GDPR will be an advantage. You will be a team player have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet statutory deadlines.
