Field Service Engineer - East Midlands / East Anglia
If you're a Field Service Engineer looking to break into the medical sector, this role offers the perfect pathway. You'll be joining a well-established managed service provider that supports healthcare organisations nationwide, known for investing heavily in training, development, and creating a genuinely supportive team culture. What you'll be doing:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of medical devices.
* Travel between sites to deliver responsive, reliable service to clinical teams.
* Keep accurate service records, manage spare parts, and ensure equipment is fully compliant.
* Work closely with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors to keep everything running smoothly.
* Support senior engineers and contribute to ongoing improvements within the service team.
What we're looking for:
* HNC/ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
* Some hands-on practical engineering experience - ideally 6-12 months
* Someone who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction, and problem-solving on the road.
* Strong communication skills and confidence working independently.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
* DBS Enhanced Disclosure (can be completed during onboarding).
The details:
* Salary: £26,916.50
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours
* Package: Company van, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, discretionary bonus, private pension
