Key Responsibilities: Team Management & Leadership: Lead, support, and motivate a team of residential conveyancers to meet departmental objectives and deadlines. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management of case loads, and ensuring deadlines are met. Provide guidance and training to junior and senior conveyancers, promoting professional development. Conduct performance reviews and facilitate team meetings to promote collaboration and communication. Case Management: Manage your own caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring a high standard of service delivery from start to finish. Oversee complex or high-value transactions handled by the team, offering support and expertise when necessary. Ensure legal documents are prepared accurately and that the process complies with all regulations and guidelines. Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their queries are addressed efficiently and professionally. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders in the property process. Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement within the conveyancing process and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Ensure that team members are up to date with all relevant legal changes, best practices, and firm protocols. Monitor performance metrics and help identify strategies for continuous improvement in the conveyancing process. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and firm-specific requirements. Monitor and manage risks, ensuring that processes and cases adhere to the highest ethical and legal standards. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in residential conveyancing, with at least 5 years of experience within the field. Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team. In-depth knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process. Strong client service skills, with a client-first approach. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, colleagues, and third parties. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Legal qualifications (e.g., Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
