We're looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Finance Assistant to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, managing financial data, and supporting daily office operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and a well-organised office environment, working closely with the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
. Purchase Ledger
. Sales Ledger
. Credit Control
. Nominal Ledger
. Assist in the preparation of the annual financial audit
. Organise and maintain accountancy paperwork and filing systems
. Provide general administrative support as required
Qualifications and Competencies
. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
. PC literate (particularly with Word and Excel)
. Willingness to learn new skills - training will be provided
. Familiarity with any finance systems, Sage preferred but not essential
. Previous office or finance-related experience
