Job Description
As the As the Cladding & Latent Defect Project Surveyor, you will be:
 3. Responsible for providing support and monitoring of day-to-day running of remediation projects assigned
 4. Overseeing and managing all aspects of work relating to dealing with latent defects and major remedial works projects
 5. Successfully project managing individual remedial works packages to individual buildings
 6. Liaising with residents and stakeholders on major defects projects, including dealing with complaints
 7. Assisting in programme Leadership
 8. Leading managing Project Management
 9. Ensure Technical Coordination
 10. Liaising with Stakeholders and lead on Engagement
 11. Procuring and Contract Managing
 12. Monitoring Compliance and Safety
 13. Participating in Team Collaboration and Reporting
 14. Supporting Development and Leadership
The Successful Applicant
As the As the Cladding & Latent Defect Project Surveyor, you should have:
 15. Degree or NVQ in Building Surveying, Building Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
 16. Chartered status with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building), or an equivalent professional body
 17. Demonstrated expertise in conducting structural, condition, and measured surveys, including related services like investigative reports or other supplementary statutory requirement documentation
 18. Experience in overseeing multi-disciplinary teams for complex construction or remediation projects
 19. Proven history of adhering to CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations in the Client role
 20. Able to organise own workload and that of others and working to deadlines
 21. Knowledge of Latent Defect claims management
 22. Proven engagement with large-scale stakeholder communication, including residents and commercial tenants.
 23. Ideally some kind of Fire safety-specific certifications (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety, NEBOSH Fire Certificate, Full Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE))
 24. Ideally but not essentially, Building Control Qualification (e.g., Level 5 Building Control Surveying Diploma)
 25. Significant experience managing cladding remediation projects and major refurbishment works from inception to completion
 26. Comprehensive understanding of cladding systems, fire safety standards, and building regulations for residential accommodation
 27. Expertise in administering JCT Contracts (including IFC, Measured Term Contracts, and TPC Suite).
 28. It will be helpful if you can drive to sites but be able to get to London on a weekly basis for hybrid working
