Who we’re looking for
4. A Child Care solicitor with at least 2 years’ experience running their own files. There may be some Private Children work alongside this, and an ability or willingness to assist would be of benefit.
5. Comfortable and confident with doing their own advocacy
6. Child Panel membership (desirable but not essential)
7. A natural team player who enjoys mentoring juniors and getting stuck into firm-wide initiatives
What you’ll be doing
8. Taking over a full caseload of predominantly care matters
9. Support from a paralegal, a trainee solicitor and pool of inhouse typists
10. Contributing to internal projects, from shaping the firm’s culture to input on marketing and LinkedIn activity
11. Collaborating closely with support staff, trainees, and other solicitors
12. Playing an active role in the continued development of a respected, growing department and firm
