Waymouth & Ward Homecare are an agency who introduce self-employed visiting carers to their private pay clients.
Our discerning, private clients are looking for dedicated and hardworking carers who are experienced, compassionate and companiable, to help them remain in the comfort of their own homes.
If you think you have the commonsense, skills and personality to suit our clients, we would like to hear from you.
We are looking for part time hours, and have visits available in Victoria, Putney, Wimbledon, South Kensington, Chelsea and other central London locations.
Are you able to offer the following?
* Provide assistance with daily household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, ironing and organising.
* Prepare meals with healthy ingredients and from scratch.
* Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
* Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Provide companionship and engage in conversation and activities with the client.
* Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or well-being to the appropriate family member.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Up to date certificates in care - we can arrange on-line training if needed.
* DBS on the update service - we can arrange a new DBS if required.
