Here's what you'll be doing
The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current nPower nBS & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
Right now, we’re looking for x2 Billing Optimisation Leads to join our I&C team. For this role you will conduct analysis to help produce clear options identifying costs and benefits of different optimisation strategies to enable faced-based decision-making. Working alongside various teams including Procurement and Marketing, you will ensure all Bill communications are maintained within the Junifer system. This role will offer the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 2 days in the office per week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct analysis of the overnight Billing Batch schedule, ensuring performance is optimised to deliver maximised billing throughput and ensure systemic bill run performance does not impact operational processes.
2. Maintain Account Level Billing tolerances, ensuring these reflect customer bespoke requirements and reflect the wider billing optimisation strategy.
3. Work closely in conjunction with the Billing Team to understand re-work and manual processing times to ensure the optimisation strategy correctly optimises the balance between rework and FTE numbers.
4. Support the wider Billing and Accounts team to aid the embedding of Billing Solution changes, taking a lead from the teams.
5. Conduct analysis on any issues relating to Electronic Bill Media, working closely with the Billing team, and IT as required.
6. Support the teams and Billing Solutions to identify optimal ways of deliver solution changes in line with Billing Optimisation strategy.
7. Drive continuous improvements to quality of billing data, providing feedback to customer facing segment, customers, and metering.
What we need from you
8. Detailed knowledge and experience of complex billing products and services in an Industrial & Commercial environment including understanding of industry charges, flex products and taxation.
9. Ability to review and support Billing strategy to meet customer, business and regulatory requirements. Experienced in working with complex customers groups to deliver solutions.
10. Ability to support change and work with IT partners to deliver Billing solutions. Change informed by customer needs, efficiencies to improve cost to and industry change.
11. Strong organisational skills with ability to balance tactical and strategic business priorities.
12. Strong level of IT capability (Microsoft Office applications, including Excel).
13. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with competing perspectives, needs and priorities in an increasingly cost/investment constrained environment with a passion for delivering financial value, customer, and operational excellence.
