Capital Analyst
This is a great job for someone with strong capital management experience, particularly in Asset Management or the Financial Services Sector.
About the role:
The Aviva Investors Finance team plays a key role in developing and maintaining a financial framework that aligns with Aviva Investors' strategy, operations, resource allocation, and performance management. The role supports the Capital Reporting Manager and Senior Finance Manager in delivering high-quality capital and liquidity reports to internal and external stakeholders. The internal MI will assist management in making informed decisions regarding capital and liquidity. The role also involves managing the global capital and liquidity position to prevent regulatory breaches. Responsibilities include supporting with capital transactions such as injections, loans, reductions, and dividends, preparing quarterly metrics like Return on Capital, Operating Capital Generation, and Solvency Ratios, and conducting financial risk assessments for the ICARA process.
Skills and experience required:
* Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
* Understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory reporting requirements, as well as EU-wide and global capital directives
* Strong business acumen with excellent project management skills
* Knowledge of risk and control environments, including SMCR
* Decision-making ability, independent judgment, prioritization skills, and the capability to manage multiple initiatives
