Main duties of the job
The Employment Team at Legal and Risk Services, the in house solicitors for NHS Wales based in Cardiff, require a full time paralegal. The post holder will undertake the case management of a range of employment law matters from the initial advice request, to the issue of the ET claim to settlement or trial under appropriate supervision and subject to experience. The successful candidate will work under the close supervision of a Lawyer and will undertake a variety of tasks such as reviewing documents including HR documents, medical records, identifying and instructing experts and counsel, drafting tribunal documents, undertaking legal research, attending courts or tribunals, entering relevant information on to the case management system and drafting advice to clients.

Experience of Respondent litigation is preferred but candidates with good knowledge and experience of employment matters will be considered.
