Location: London (hybrid working arrangements).
Employment type: Permanent full-time/part-time.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience plus 5% bonus, 28 days holiday, market-leading pension (7.5% employee contribution and 15% company contribution), and other benefits.

The Opportunity
Join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the UKs most exciting megaprojects, supporting the UKs climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, aiming to provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, supporting Britain’s goal of Net Zero by 2050.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated ITA / Liaison Committee Lead to help build and operate within our Economic Regulatory and Requirements Assurance Function. This function ensures our assurance and compliance programmes are robust, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with regulatory expectations. We offer flexible, hybrid working with full IT support.
Responsibilities
1. Lead engagement with the Independent Technical Advisor (ITA), managing contracts and performance, and ensuring timely responses.
2. Establish and manage the Liaison Committee, ensuring compliance with the SZC Liaison Agreement.
3. Support development and implementation of economic regulatory compliance frameworks and policies.
4. Provide expertise on economic regulation, offering guidance and training across the business.
5. Collaborate with finance and reporting teams for accurate regulatory reporting.
6. Produce reports and presentations for governance meetings, including the Audit and Risk Committee.
7. Monitor and assess compliance risks, implementing effective controls and mitigation strategies.
8. Consult with legal and professional advisors on compliance matters as needed.
Requirements
* Strong background in economic regulation, ideally including the RAB model.
* Experience in compliance within government, regulatory services, or finance.
* Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels, including executive and board.
* Experience managing external stakeholders and assurance providers.
* Exceptional communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
* Strong analytical and project management skills.
* Commercial acumen to assess risk and reward.
* Strategic yet hands-on approach with attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
