Job Description: A new role has been created at our Aberdeen operation. Experience on telescopic and Counter Balance Forklift preferred. Experience in Waste Management or Metal Recycling Industry an advantage. Excellent Salary and Incentive package.

About Us: ArcelorMittal is the world's leading steel and mining company, with a presence in 60 countries and primary steelmaking facilities in 15 countries. Our material is part of the fabric of life. What we produce makes a difference - to individuals, communities, businesses and society. At ArcelorMittal, the safety, health, and wellbeing of our employees are our top priorities. We believe that every accident is avoidable, and it is essential for every employee, from the shop floor to the management committee, to hold this belief. Our purpose is to produce ever smarter steels that have a positive benefit for people and planet. Steels made using innovative processes which use less energy, emit significantly less carbon and reduce costs. Steels that are cleaner, stronger and reusable. Steels for electric vehicles and renewable energy infrastructure that will support societies as they transform through this century. With steel at our core, our inventive people and an entrepreneurial culture at heart, we will support the world in making that change. This is what we believe it takes to be the steel company of the future.

About the Team: John Lawrie Metals (company of ArcelorMittal Group) is the largest scrap metal recycler in the North-East of Scotland. We have scrap metal yards and metal recycling locations in Aberdeen, Shetland and Evanton, close to Inverness, handling around 200,000 tonnes of metals every year. We specialise in: Scrap Metal Reuse and Recycling, Industrial Metal Recycling, Marine Metal Recycling and Domestic Scrap Metal and have been successfully carrying out decommissioning projects involving the dismantling of large oilfield, subsea and industrial infrastructure for more than two decades. At John Lawrie Metals, we take our CSR responsibility to support the local communities, people and environment seriously. From sports centres and teams to foodbanks and charities, we welcome the opportunity to offer support our neighbourhoods where we can. Without the dedicated, passionate and loyal team we are proud to employ, our business wouldn't be where it is today. Our people play a vital role in ensuring the future and ongoing success of our business.
