Procurement and Supply Chain plays a key role in supporting customer delivery, managing risk and driving value across a significant and strategically important supply base.
QinetiQ is hiring into its UK Defence Frameworks team at both Supply Chain Manager and Supply Chain Specialist level. These roles sit in the more structured side of the function, working with an established supplier network and existing framework routes to support stakeholder demand, manage contracts and drive supplier performance.
These roles can be based in Bristol, Boscombe or Farnborough, with an expectation to be on site 3 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead or support sourcing and RFQ activity through an established supplier base and agreed framework routes.
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, helping them access the right suppliers through the correct commercial path.
* Manage known contracts and support BAU demand across a structured and repeatable operating environment.
* Support Supplier Relationship Management and contract management activity, including KPIs, supplier performance and ongoing value delivery.
* Monitor supplier and contract risk, including resilience, sustainability and broader supply chain considerations.
Key skills required:
* Strong procurement and supply chain fundamentals, ideally gained in a complex, regulated or technically led environment.
* Experience in contract management and Supplier Relationship Management, with an understanding of negotiation as well as post-award activity.
* Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment with an established supplier network.
* Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to guide internal customers toward the right route and supplier solution.
* Interest or experience in working with SMEs, sustainability and supplier diversity.
