Your New Role
As amercial Interior Designer, you will take the lead in designing and shaping inspiringmercial spaces. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their vision, assess project requirements and develop creative, functional layouts that maximise the potential of each space.
Your role will involve:
1. Producingmercial layouts and space‑planning designs
2. Meeting suppliers to stay updated on the latest trends, materials and finishes
3. Creating mood boards and concept direction
4. Producing high‑quality presentation packs
5. Presenting design work and drawings to clients
6. Carrying out accurate on‑site surveys
7. Sourcing suitable furniture and product solutions
8. Creating technical drawings including plans, sections and elevations
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll bring both technicalpetence and creative flair, along with the confidence tomunicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
You will need:
9. Strong ability to survey sites accurately
10. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
11. Excellentmunication and customer service skills
12. Strong problem‑solving abilities
13. Experience producing technical plans, sections and elevations
14. Knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D modelling/rendering tools (advantageous)
15. Proficiency in Photoshop
16. Solid product and furniture knowledge
