We are currently looking for Smart Meter Engineers for our client. There are a number of opportunities available and we are looking for candidates based in Norwich and surrounding areas.
They provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within the Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, and provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
What will you be doing?
As an engineer, you will form part of the Metering team that provides a wide range of services from Smart installations, investigation of non‑communicating smart meters, emergency and maintenance appointments.
You will ensure all jobs are completed on time and provide customers with in‑depth explanations of the benefits and safe usage of their new meter. You will also respond to emergencies, restoring power or gas when customers need it the most.
Continuous training will be provided to maintain and develop your skills. Health and safety is a priority and you will attend weekly meetings and catch‑ups to stay supported by field managers and support functions.
What you’ll bring
* Valid UK driving licence held for at least one year with less than 6 points
* CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 certificate, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel
* Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
* Previous MOCOPA experience
