Registered Manager – Residential Care Home (Elderly Care)
Location: Beautiful seaside town, East Kent
Salary: £45,000 + Bonus (Negotiable, DOE)
Start Monday are proud to represent our client, a well-established and purpose-built residential care home for up to 60 elderly residents. The home offers a warm, family-oriented environment and a genuine sense of community.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead and inspire the care team, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care and regulatory compliance. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, manage budgets and staffing, and continue to drive improvement and excellence in all aspects of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide effective leadership and support to the care team
* Ensure full CQC compliance and maintain excellent quality standards
* Manage budgets, occupancy, and staff performance
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider community
About You
* Proven experience managing a residential or nursing home for older people
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
* A confident leader with excellent communication and motivational skills
