As our Restaurant Manager, you'll ensure the smooth running of our restaurants, room service delivery, and functions across the village and for our on-site care home. You'll help us make health happen by:
1. Managing the staff rota, ensuring appropriate cover at all times and within budget.
2. Leading staff management duties such as recruiting, training, and mentoring new members of the front of house team, adhering to Richmond Village standards at all times.
3. Supervising front of house staff to ensure correct procedures are followed.
4. Supporting the organization of functions, including liaising with the kitchen team, arranging menus, and organizing seating plans.
5. Ensuring each service is managed to the highest standard, including serving meals, setting up tables, serving drinks from the bar, and keeping the dining rooms tidy.
6. Managing alternative meal requests and ensuring customers' dietary requirements are met.
7. Ensuring the smooth and friendly delivery of room service meals.
Requirements and qualities include:
* Experience managing a team in hospitality or catering.
* CIEH Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety or equivalent.
* Self-motivated, great communicator, and person-centred approach.
* Organized, flexible, professional, and a team player who can also work independently.
* Leading by example to deliver excellent hospitality experiences.
Salary and benefits:
Salary range: £28,177 per annum & excellent benefits. Contract: Permanent - Full Time. Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings. Operating hours: 8am - 8pm, with some later nights for events.
