Oriel Science is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative Learning Manager to design and deliver inspiring STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths and Medicine) workshops to school and home education groups, primarily at Key Stages 2 and 3. Based in our unique, research-led city centre venue, you will transform cutting-edge research from universities and partner organisations into engaging, hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence in young people.
You will take the lead in creating curriculum-linked workshop content aligned with the Welsh curriculum, and deliver sessions that are inclusive, interactive, and tailored to a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
This role is suited to someone with a passion for science education and public engagement. You will work both independently and collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all participants.
You will build strong relationships with schools and partners, facilitate workshops for diverse groups, and contribute to the ongoing development of new programmes.
The role also involves evaluating impact, maintaining workshop resources, and contributing to the development of new programmes and public engagement activities.
We are looking for a confident communicator with teaching experience, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to inclusion, who is motivated to inspire the next generation through meaningful, real-world experiences beyond the classroom.

Term of Contract:Fixed Term for 6 months
