Supply Desk is seeking dedicated individuals to join a Primary School in Southampton as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (TA) or Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This is a valuable opportunity for graduates with backgrounds in Psychology, Sports, or Drama who bring transferable skills such as teamwork, empathy, resilience, and curiosity—key qualities that enable them to effectively support children facing significant educational challenges.
* Location: Southampton
* Start Date: September 2026 – Long-Term Contract
* Pay: £85 - £95 per day
* Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
Role Overview
As an SEN TA/LSA, you will:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students engage with the curriculum.
* Assist with classroom activities, ensuring pupils receive the support they need.
* Encourage confidence, focus, and personal development in students with additional needs.
* Work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement tailored learning strategies.
