Human Resources Business Manager
Location: London-based University
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid (35 hours per week - 3 days in office, 2 days from home)

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HR Business Manager to provide critical support in driving the organisation's human resources planning and operational delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as a key support to the CPO, providing professional business management advice in defining, prioritising, and operationalising the HR annual planning process.
* Track Directorate progress through clear milestones.
* Proactively liaise with internal contacts external bodies/agencies to build relationships, disseminate information, and coordinate Directorate activities.
* Oversee the operational rhythm of the HR function, including managing the HR calendar and strategic planning processes.
* Provide business management support to HR senior leadership in delivering efficiencies and process improvements within HR operations.
* Monitor and report on complex HR performance metrics, ensuring the HR function delivers value to the business.
* Use data-driven insights to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and report to senior HR leadership.
* Facilitate communication and alignment across the HR leadership team.
* Prepare briefing materials, agendas, minutes, presentations, and reports for key meetings.
* Act as a champion for culture and change, supporting the CPO in driving a high-performance culture across the organisation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively to address challenges, align on priorities, and drive HR initiatives.
Person Specification:
* Professional qualification in business administration/management or /Equivalent experience in business or project administration.
* Proven experience in HR or business management with strategic planning and project management.
* Beneficial: Experience in the Higher Education sector.
* High-level interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
* Successful stakeholder communication and engagement.
