They are actively seeking an experienced, determined Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design who is willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based near the historical, family-friendly town of Neath.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
6. Developing drainage strategies for projects across commercial, industrial, residential and other sectors
7. Designing drainage systems, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), in line with the relevant industry standards
8. Submitting SAB Applications to the relevant authorities
9. Working with designs for the relevant Section Agreements (including, S104, S106, and S278)
10. Designing a range of roads, including estate roads for residential developments, and access roads
11. Preparing Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
12. Using a range of relevant software packages, including Civils 3D, Causeway PDS, MicroDrainage, etc.
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
13. A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
14. Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy setting
15. Demonstrable experience in drainage and road designs
16. Excellent working knowledge of software packages such as Causeway PDS, MicroDrainage, etc.
17. Experience of liaising with internal and external stakeholders, in relation to a diverse range of projects
18. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
19. Previous experience with designing highways and access roads
20. Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this
21. Experience of managing projects and/or people
22. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
