Job Title: National Account Manager (Grocery)
Location: Hybrid working depending on location.
Business location: Office is based in Nottingham.
Reports to: Head of Retail Accounts
Salary Guide Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum dependant on experience. You will be applicable to earn an additional 15% bonus payment on your annual salary per year, based on meeting total business & role targets.
Holiday Allowance: 22 days + bank holidays per year.

Job Overview:
As our business grows an opportunity has come up for a National Account Manager to join the Retail Team who will be responsible for helping to develop and execute the commercial plan for multiple brands across major UK grocery accounts. The role will report into our Head of Retail Accounts and will involve managing and driving growth in our retail accounts, in addition to identifying and winning listings within new retailers and new categories.
Key Responsibilities:
-Drive growth within current accounts, owning the P&L for your accounts.
-Support with the development of and execution of the businesses retail strategies.
-Constantly review and improve current account strategies.
-Build strong relationships with our customers (both retailers and brands).
-Develop and implement JBPs with existing and new accounts.
-Advise on, and activate, promotions, and marketing campaigns, with retailers and brands.
-Review and identify opportunities to optimise current ranges.
-Produce and manage sales forecasts and track performance for accounts/brands.
-Manage queries from our retail and brand partners in a timely manner.
-Identify possible quick win market opportunities.
-Establish and set up new retail partnerships.
-Create tailored new business propositions for different retailers/categories.
-Gain new listings across existing and new retailers.
-Pro-actively grow knowledge of product and market trends within the categories that we work within.

-Creative approach to addressing problems, which will allow you to also be involved in product development, utilising our in-house brands to launch our own products into your retail accounts.
Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:
Each person in our retail team has retail buying experience, within a major high street or grocery retail, as such, this role would suit someone who has experience in retail buying or assistant buyer experience, or previous national account management experience within grocery retail.
-Proven track record of achieving targets and growing accounts.
-Previous experience managing accounts/categories with Tesco, Sainsburys, ASDA, Morrisons, Waitrose and/ or The Co-op.
-Results driven with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
-Analytical and commercially minded.
-Passion and enthusiasm for growing brands.
-Interest in the Health, Wellbeing and Sports Nutrition markets.
-Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities with strong time management skills.
-Understanding of P&L’s and the ability to read sales reports.
-Experience with sales, negotiation and closing deals.
-Comfortable with managing and influencing external and internal customer relationships across all levels.
-Strong presentation and communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Project Management Tools.
