Are you an experienced CNC Turner with strong Fanuc or Mazak experience looking for your next opportunity within precision engineering?Do you enjoy programming, setting and operating CNC machinery while producing high-quality precision components?Were supporting a specialist manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a CNC Turner to join their operations team.Whats the role all about?As a CNC Turner, youll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components to exact specifications.This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced precision engineering environment where quality, accuracy and attention to detail are critical.Youll work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to the highest standards.Key responsibilitiesProgramme, set and operate CNC Fanuc and/or Mazak LathesWrite and optimise CNC programs from engineering drawings and specificationsSet up machines including tooling, fixtures and raw materialsProve out new programs and ensure successful machine operationManufacture precision components to tight tolerancesCarry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipmentTroubleshoot machining and programming issuesMaintain accurate production and quality documentationWork closely with engineers and machinists to resolve production challengesCarry out routine machine maintenance and support continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with health, safety and quality proceduresWhat youll needTo succeed in this role, youll bring:Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathesStrong knowledge of Fanuc controlsExperience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancingExperience using precision measuring equipmentStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced production environmentDesirableExperience with Mazak machineryEngineering apprenticeship or ONC/HNC qualificationAerospace manufacturing experienceCAD/CAM software experience, ideally Fusion 360Experience using CMM equipment or QCT softwareKnowledge of AS9100 standardsExposure to continuous improvement activitiesAbout youYoure a hands-on machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality precision work.Youll be:Methodical and technically mindedA strong problem solverDetail-focused and quality-drivenComfortable working independently and as part of a teamProactive and reliableSalary and benefitsCompetitive salaryOvertime opportunitiesTraining and development supportSupportive engineering environmentOpportunity to work on high-precision components within a specialist manufacturing businessInterested?If youre an experienced CNC Turner looking for your next challenge within precision engineering, wed love to hear from you.Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.Kingdom People are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
