We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join the library service.
The post is 21hrs per week and based at Horbury Library. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of customer service that exceeds customer expectations and enhances our library service profile by contributing to the delivery of a comprehensive events programme.
You will have:
1. a positive and flexible approach
2. excellent interpersonal skills
3. previous experience in a customer facing environment
4. a good standard of ICT proficiency, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programmes and web-based packages
5. a calm approach when dealing with complex and stressful situations
6. the ability to engage and interact appropriately with both adults and children
7. the ability to encourage and motivate customers to participate in activities which enhances the customer experience.
