Salary: £60,000 - 66,000 per year Requirements: Proven commercial experience working as a Platform Engineer within the public sector. Active SC Clearance. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting legacy applications/infrastructure, including Oracle, WebLogic, and Elasticsearch. Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, refactoring code, and developing automated tests. Strong knowledge of Nginx, Apache Tomcat/HTTP, and ETL processes. Installing and supporting Oracle 11, including Partitioning, RAC, RMAN (PL/SQL desirable). Hands-on experience with Docker, VMWare ESX v6, and related virtualization technologies. Proficiency in Oracle Solaris 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Microsoft Windows Server (2008/2016/2019), and IBM Initiate MDM. Immediate availability is a nice to have.
