Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for optimising operations and leading a dynamic team? Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for a skilled Logistics Manager for our client based in Southall, a high-end alcohol drinks delivery company.
Your overall duties will be to oversee the busy warehouse and driving operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and seamless coordination across both departments. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced environment where your expertise and leadership will be highly valued.
Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm (flexibility is a must!)
£40,000 to £45,000 per annum
As a Logistics Manager, your duties will include:
* Overseeing all warehouse and drivers fleet activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, as well as managing inventory and order fulfilment.
* Ensure all orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule.
* Keep up-to-date with vehicles maintenance (services, MOTs etc)
* Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and implement systems to track stock levels effectively.
* Analyse workflow processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth supply chain operations.
* Generate and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
We are seeking a Logistics Manager with the following qualifications and skills:
* Proven experience in fleet and warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
* Food / beverages wholesaler experience is desirable
* Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and motivating teams effectively.
* Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with health and safety standards and warehouse compliance regulations.
* CPC and O-Licence qualifications are desirable but not essential
* No more than a 45 minute commute
