The Role As an Assistant Town Planner, you'll be involved in a broad range of planning work from day one. You'll support the preparation and management of planning applications, contribute to planning statements and development appraisals, and assist in promoting strategic sites through the local plan process. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals Researching planning policies, local plans, and development frameworks Assisting with project management and client liaison Preparing planning documents, reports, and statements Attending site visits and public consultation events as required Collaborating with consultants, local authorities, and in-house teams About You This role would suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background and a passion for town planning.
