uk for additional roles across engineering, production, warehouse & transport operations.Transport Planner (Nights)c£45k - £47k + Excellent BenefitsWiltshireOur client is a leading 3PL Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Transport planning professional as they look to recruit a Transport Planner at their site in Melksham, Wiltshire on a Monday to Friday permanent nights basis (18:00 04:00 or 20:00 06:00).Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be part of a transport office team in a busy and well-established Pallet Network operation. You'll take full ownership of planning the freight, ensuring it's delivered on time and in full. As this is a night role, were looking for someone confident working independently, who can make sound operational decisions and keep things running smoothly through the night.Key Accountabilities as Transport Planner:Debrief day operationScan inbound & outbound freightPlan and route all network deliveries for the next day on a multi-drop basis (mixed fleet of 100 units)Plan and allocate drivers and vehicles for day and night operationsAssist with out-of-hours incidentsSupport the wider transport team to maintain operational efficiencyThe Ideal Person for the Transport Planner role:Previous experience in a similar transport planning roleExperience within a pallet network environment (highly advantageous)Forklift licence (desirable)Strong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and under pressureGood communication skillsIT Savvy with attention to detailConfident decision-making abilityFlexible approach and willingness to work in a varied, fast-paced environmentBenefits:Annual pay reviewQuarterly bonus based on set KPIsSalary sacrifice pensionThis is a fantastic opportunity we look forward to your application .Strive Supply Chain Limited [& associated businesses] acts as an employment agency on behalf of external employers for the provision of permanent staff.
