What You’ll Do
* Attend all trainings booked in for you – these are all of value and should be privileged.
* Access Level 5 through our internal promotions programme.
* DSL – Level 3 safeguard training for designated leads.
* Support the Registered Homes Manager in ensuring compliance with the company policy and procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations.
* Deputise/act up for the Registered Manager in their absence.
* Work with the manager and team towards the most positive outcomes for the young person.
* Plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day.
* Ensure the Placement and Care plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times.
* Show natural caring, patience, and emotional intelligence.
* Remain calm and grounded, even under pressure, with the ability to set clear, consistent boundaries.
* Be a supportive team player who leads with empathy and kindness; this role requires a Level 3 QCF qualification and several years of experience working as a senior within a children’s residential setting.
