Japanese & English Bilingual Technical Marketing Analyst
Location: UK, Netherlands or Belgium (Hybrid / remote)
One of the global leading engineering groups is seeking a Japanese & English Bilingual Technical Marketing professional to join their Chemicals Division.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping market strategy, driving decision-making, and enabling commercial success through market insights, communication, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contributing as a key member of cross-functional market management teams
* Conduct comprehensive market surveys to identify opportunities and challenge,
* analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform
* strategic decisions.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market findings and recommendations.
* Serve as the point of contact between the Japanese Headquarters and local teams,
* ensuring smooth and effective communication by facilitating the exchange of
* information and coordinating efforts.
* Co-leading the creation and deployment of marketing plans and activities of assigned
* market segments across the region.
* Collaborating the Sales and Technical Services and R&D team members to carry out
* innovative projects' commercialisation with both new and current customers in target
* markets.
* Planning and executing digital campaigns, adopting leads & opportunities
* management methodologies and optimising 365 CRM functionalities.
* Act as a central hub for internal information from Japan, the USA, and key external
* markets including customer and competitor insights gathered in the European area,
* while supporting the optimisation of individual actions by compiling and distributing
* the information in a clear and easy-to-understand format.
* Supporting communication campaigns, leveraging business communications
* resources to effectively engage with customers and channel partners (when needed).
* The role requires travel up to 30%. (mainly across Europe, once or twice a year to
* Japan)
Requirements & Expectations:
* Technical degrees - ideally chemical engineering or material science
* MBA/Economic background is a plus.
* Knowledge of Polymer Industry and/or Composite Market is highly desirable.
* Experience with sustainability topics, including Life-Cycle Assessments, (LCAs), carbon reduction, energy efficiency, resource management, sustainable certifications, retrofitting, etc. would be desirable.
* Knowledge in developing new market adjacencies and expanding targeted geographicreach.
* Fluent in verbal and written English.
* Japanese communication skills and cultural understanding.
* Track record of solving complex challenges.
