Robert Half is delighted to be working with a well-established professional services firm to recruit a Credit Controller for their Bristol-based Finance team. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to join an experienced and collaborative accounts function supporting continued UK growth.
You will play a key role in maintaining strong cashflow, managing client relationships, and supporting the wider finance team. This position would suit a credit control professional looking to develop their experience within a complex, international organization.
Our client adopt a hybrid working model, where you will work in their central Bristol office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include but not be limited to:
1. Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment and effective cashflow management.
2. Investigate and resolve invoice queries, disputes, and account discrepancies.
3. Reconcile customer accounts, analyse payment history, and negotiate payment plans where required.
4. Prepare and issue customer statements, reminders, and regular management reports.
5. Liaise with internal stakeholders and escalate issues to management as required.
Your Profile:
6. Strong proven experience in a transactional finance role.
7. Good attention to detail, ability to work well to deadlines and confident written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong IT literacy including Excel.
9. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £27-32k plus employee benefits.
