Job Role

We’re looking for a proactive, business-minded HR Adviser & Projects to join our dynamic HR team. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and pragmatic HR advice to managers and employees ensuring our policies remain current, compliant, and aligned with best practices.

This hybrid role combines day-to-day HR support with strategic project delivery. You’ll lead and contribute to initiatives that enhance compliance, streamline processes, and improve overall performance. From designing and managing internal policies to implementing HR systems, your work will help shape the future of our people operations.

You’ll play a central role in the organisation-wide rollout of the annual Performance & Appraisal Process. This involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to introduce performance moderation and align compensation and rewards with individual and team outcomes—ultimately fostering a culture of continuous feedback and development.

We’re seeking someone with strong HR knowledge, previous experience in a HR Advisory capacity, and a passion for driving positive change. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy balancing operational tasks with strategic thinking, we’d love to hear from you.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range of £36,000 to £38,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Hockley (2 days per week)/Hybrid working
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Closing Date: 30 September 2025




Key Responsibilities

* Provide guidance to managers and colleagues on the implementation and application of HR policies.
* Creation and implementation of operational HR policies and processes.
* Support the full employee lifecycle management with a focus on identifying improvements.
* Provide support to Senior People Partners and Associate HR Partners through the process and policy design to support contract mobilisation and demobilisation.
* Ensure compliance with local employment laws and internal policies.
* Take a lead role in standardising and streamlining HR policies and processes.
* Ensure efficient publication of relevant policies.
* Implementation and guidance of HR administrative processes.
* Creation of HR target operating models to capture key process mapping.
* Creation and ongoing management of all-colleague handbook.
* Work with the HR Data team to deliver the planning and coordination of the annual performance and appraisal cycle.
* Work with the Head of HR to ensure key processes are accurately followed in readiness for internal/external audits.




Skills and Experience

* Previous similar experience working within a regional/multi-site environment in a HR advisory capacity.
* Strong technical knowledge of employment compliance and best practices.
* Previous administrative and/or advisory HR experience within the capacity of employment compliance, onboarding and HR administration.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to seek commercially sound solutions.
* Strong ability to organise and prioritise tasks meeting deadlines.
