This is a hybrid role. The Business Development Team works from our Brighton office 5 days per week for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week after that.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this highly autonomous role, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of accounts. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to account management, connecting SME’s with our award winning product.
* Proactively source your own leads through research, building your own pipeline.
* Conduct daily outreach to businesses, making 30-50 outbound calls, connecting with key decision-makers.
* Drive sales and reach targets by converting leads into active clients.
* Manage customer accounts to increase their spend and satisfaction by building strong relationships.
* Operate professionally, adhering to all FCA regulations to ensure trust and client confidence.
* Proven success in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales Development; B2B experience is ideal but not essential.
* A demonstrated track record of achieving targets.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with customers over the phone.
* An adaptable mindset and a creative approach to handling situations throughout the sales cycle.
* Prior experience in Fintech or Financial Services is a plus.

The interview process includes a 30-minute intro and values call with Talent Partner, followed by a 60-minute in-person interview with Sales Managers and a chance to meet the current team.
