We are seeking a reliable and skilled VNA Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, warehouse operations, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Shifts
Hours 07:00 - 15:30
Duties
* Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
* Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
* Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and shipments.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and schedules.
Requirements
* Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment.
* Familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role.
* Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type used in the role. xsngvjr (In house not accepted)
