As Workshop Supervisor, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our busy fabrication workshop, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This is a practical, leadership‑focused role ideal for someone with strong fabrication experience and a passion for guiding a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities
* Lead, support, and mentor welders and fabricators
* Allocate jobs and manage workflow to meet deadlines
* Ensure all work meets quality, specification, and safety standards
* Carry out inspections, checks, and quality control processes
* Liaise with management on project progress and resource needs
* Assist with hands‑on welding/fabrication when required
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Oversee equipment maintenance and reporting of issues
