As part of Arm’s continued growth, the CPU team is looking to hire dedicated engineers to join our Cambridge team. You will work on next‑generation CPU products in close collaboration with the Cambridge team.

Responsibilities
* Ownership of a specific area of verification for a CPU, ranging from unit‑level testbench development through to the overall verification strategy for the project.
* Responsibility for producing test plans and verification strategies.
* Planning, tracking, and coordinating tasks to meet high‑quality goals on schedule.
* Using a data‑driven approach to ensure a high‑quality product.
* Contributing to verification improvement strategies across the CPU group and the wider Arm verification community.
* Evaluating and resolving causality of issues throughout the verification process for each project.
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience designing and implementing verification environments for complex RTL designs.
* Proficiency in hardware verification languages such as Verilog and SystemVerilog.
* Understanding of end‑to‑end verification processes, from test plan creation through to verification closure.
* Ability to quickly understand and apply complex specification detail.
* Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals, with emphasis on pipelining, exception handling, and memory systems.
Nice to Have
* Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM.
* Knowledge of programming languages C/C++ and Python.
* Practical experience working on microprocessor designs.
* In‑depth understanding of memory protection, memory translation, vector processing, and exception/interrupt handling.
* Experience with constrained random stimulus, coverage goals, coverage types, and checking methodologies.
* Experience reviewing technical work and providing detailed feedback.
* Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and using it to improve productivity.
Please note that no relocation package is available for this role.

Salary Range
£73,500 – £99,500 per year
