Main Purpose of the Role
We're looking for a Customer Services Advisor (circa 30 hours per week) to join our team based at Birley in Sheffield. In this key role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers—helping to resolve queries, progress chasing on ETA's, and ensure we're delivering exceptional service.
Reporting to the Head of sales / Key account Manager, you'll work with departments across the business to manage customer enquiries, troubleshoot issues, handle complaints professionally, and support the achievement of our service targets.

Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Managing general customer queries and any customers on our spotlight reports
* Collaborating with internal teams (traffic office & Commercial) to resolve customer concerns
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring best-in-class service delivery
* Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and resolving recurring issues
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Previous experience in a customer service or support role (preferably in a transport or similar fast-moving environment)
* Confident IT skills, especially spreadsheets, databases and web-based platforms/ systems
* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Great organisation and time-management abilities
* Able to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions
Desirable Skills/Experience::
* Experience working with e-commerce or B2B customer platforms
* An understanding Transport / logistics sector (but not essential)
