We have a temporary opening for the eCARE Senior Development Analyst to design, develop, build and configure new deployments and eCARE applications (Oracle Cerner Millennium) system upgrades.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the technical framework used by the eCARE and Back Office teams on an ongoing basis under the management of the eCARE Development Manager.
* Provide expert level IT and eCARE technical and development services to the Trust, supporting the electronic patient record system and its optimisation.
* Ensure a consistent and quality eCARE technical support service for all users, identifying and resolving complex problems with support from the eCARE Development Manager.
* Contribute to delivering new functionality and optimising existing functionality, working with the IT Back Office or end users to identify and resolve complex problems.
* Manage eCARE development project plans through the development life cycle, including both technical and non‑technical work streams.
* Support and develop the eCARE System, mission critical to the business.
* Develop test scripts under the direction of the eCARE Development Manager to validate system modifications and upgrades.
* Develop, build, configure and test new deployments and system upgrades, creating test scripts to validate processes with end users and sign off local build and configuration.
* Deliver new projects and eCARE solutions, planning, designing, configuring and deploying solutions, working independently with supplier SMEs when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience working in a healthcare environment, including application build configuration and testing (functional, system and integration).
* Experience with Oracle Health (Oracle Cerner Millennium) solutions.
* Ability to peer review test scripts and test eCARE applications, interfaces and peripherals.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Band 7 £49,387 - £56,515 per annum, pro rata.
Hours: 22.5 hrs per week, flexible working available.
