Job Description — Domestic Gas Engineer Position: Domestic Gas Engineer Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 overtime Contract: Full-time, Permanent Location: Domestic properties (field-based role) About the Role We are recruiting an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a respected and well-established heating and gas services provider operating within the domestic sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, outstanding customer service, and safe, compliant gas installations and repairs. As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems, working in occupied homes and representing the business to the highest professional standard. Key Responsibilities – Domestic Gas Engineer As a Domestic Gas Engineer, your duties will include: * Carrying out servicing, inspection, and repair of domestic heating systems and boilers * Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown works * Working on boilers and a range of domestic gas appliances * Accurately diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently * Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations and safety standards * Maintaining a consistently high standard of work as a professional Domestic Gas Engineer * Providing excellent customer service while working in customers’ homes Experience & Qualifications Required To be considered for this Domestic Gas Engineer position, you must have: * Current domestic gas qualifications * Gas Safe registration with the following modules: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 * LPG qualifications – advantageous but not essential * Oil experience – advantageous but not essential * A full UK driving licence * A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer * The ability to work independently while maintaining high standards Addition Information: Full Package included which can be explained with a phone call upon application.
