Madisons Recruitment are looking for a on a Project Manager permanent basis covering projects across the UK with the first project being in Horley, Surrey. \n\nPlease note due to this role covering projects nationwide, you must be willing to travel to be suitable for this position. \n\nOur client are a successful medium sized main contractor working on large projects across the UK specialising within Steel Frame & RC Frame. \n\nResponsibilities: \n\nChecking drawings and designs, highlighting inconsistences \nChecking and registering materials and plant deliveries for compliance quality and quantity\nChecking and recording attendance and timekeeping of subcontractors and operatives\nProduction of RAMS, Inspection Test Plans and management/implementation and completion of these (Ensuring the client is kept fully updated)\nLiaising with clients and reporting progress, quality, environmental and health and safety matters, also professional staff (such as the main contractor, architects, engineers and surveyors) also from time to time liaising and dealing with the public\nAttending internal and site meetings maintaining a professional manner\nAble to read drawings, work to drawings, and convey information on drawings to others\nAble to understand and work to programmes, also able to produce short term site based programmess themselves\nCalling off materials, ordering sundie items and maintaining running totals records\nSupervising subcontract trades, general labour to ensure the highest quality, health and safety are met, and compliance to their order requirements\nSet up and input to subcontractor meetings be it pre-start or progress meeting\nCarry out formal safety inspections ensuring construction and site safety is of the highest standard\nPreparing site reports, inspections and test plans, ensuring these are kept up to date\nMaintaining our quality control procedures\nUtilizing and maintaining all company systems, procedures, forms and templates and policies\nMotivating yourself and your workforce\nProblem solving\nAssisting with both internal and external audits\nAdvising your line manager and commercial team of any changes, delays or the request of additional works or variances to the works\nCompletion of site health and safety, quality and environmental inspections and all the job-related paperwork \nRead, understand, convey and build to only approved drawings and specifications\nEssential Requirements:\n\nSMSTS \nCSCS Managers card \nFirst aid training \nFull UK Driving license + own transport\n If you are actively search for a new role and interested in hearing more on the above Site Manager position, please apply or contact using any of the methods below.\n\nConsultant Name: Tara Pryde \n\nLandline: (phone number removed)\n\nEmail: (url removed)\n\nINDPERM
