Maintenance Operative
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our family-owned organisation with over 40 years of business within oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

The role of Maintenance Operative will be to Implement a preventative maintenance programme across all sites UK, manage and perform asset maintenance, assist with the co-ordination and performance of facilities maintenance and Prioritise breakdowns to ensure reduced lost time.
The successful Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:
1. Ensure breakdowns are treated as a priority.
2. Ensure maintenance plans are in place and implemented by self or others.
3. Make repair/replace decisions for the benefit of the business.
4. Manage on-site contractors performing maintenance, facilities and new installations. Ensuring all HSE standards are met.
5. Assist with Calibration where possible.
Preferred Skills:
6. Sound mechanical knowledge.
7. Ability to fault find and rectify issues with equipment.
8. Attention to detail.
9. Organised.
10. Good communication skills at all levels both internally and external.
11. Problem solving skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
12. Time served or qualified engineer
13. 3 years minimum experience in similar field
14. Electro mechanical background
