As a Distribution Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes to achieve operational excellence.

Your role as Distribution Centre Manager:
* Responsible for adopting a cultural transformation towards operational excellence, focusing on continuous improvement and lean methodologies to eliminate waste while ensuring Safety, Service, Cost efficiency, and Environmental sustainability.
* Implement change to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement at all levels of the operation.
* Accountable for exceeding targets for on-time and in-full deliveries.
* Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement across the site.
* Manage the site P&L and budget, ensuring risks are mitigated and opportunities are seized.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure confidence and connectivity in service provision.
* Ensure statutory compliance and governance, including adherence to O licence requirements.
What you'll bring:
* Experience in operational excellence and lean methodologies.
* Project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong management experience within logistics, supply chain, or operations.
* Proven leadership abilities to motivate and develop diverse teams, with a focus on results and engagement.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
