An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a strategic HR Business Partner. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and embedding the strategic HR agenda within the organisation, interpreting policies and working in partnership with senior managers and their teams; Leading complex strategic projects; Business Partnering; Working with the senior leadership team in setting the long and short-term objectives for the whole of the function, creating strategies and overall goals for their service managers to clearly define and deliver; Challenging, influencing and developing a thorough understanding of the strategic and operational business plans and HR issues; Supporting the review of overall performance of the function and identifying areas of under-performance or areas where opportunity for improvement exists; Supporting the design and implementation of organisational change/cultural change projects by working closely with OD and Change subject matter experts in the organisation; Managing policies; Overview control of the department’s budgets. The ideal candidate will have: CIPD qualification; Experience as a strategic HR Business Partner within the NHS; The ability to recognise complex legal and technical issues and provide relevant expert advice, particularly around complex ER cases and Employment Tribunal work; Extensive experience of delivering advice and guidance to Senior Managers and Directors, advising on complex employee relations issues, delivering organisational design and change management projects; Influencing and negotiation skills; Ability to review and develop HR systems, policies and processes; Ability to research and interpret legislation, national terms and conditions of employment and other guidance
