🚐 Van Driver – Ongoing Full-Time Role

💷 £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
🕒 Start Date: Immediate | Monday to Friday
Driver Hire Inverness is recruiting a Van Driver to be based in Dalcross, You will be delivering a variety of items throughout the Highlands with a drivers mate.. This is a full-time ongoing role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
✅ What We Offer:
1. Full time, ongoing work.
2. Monday to Friday starting at 0600
3. PAYE – £12.71 per hour
4. Permanent position offered to right person.
🚚 Key Responsibilities:
5. Deliver furniture throughout the Highlands with a drivers mate
6. Operate a delivery system app
7. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following road safety regulations
8. Load and unload goods, including manual handling
9. Communicate effectively with the onsite team and customers
10. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
📋 Requirements:
11. Valid UK Cat B Driving Licence
12. Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, CD, IN or TT codes)
13. Good local area knowledge (preferred but not essential)
