Sous Chef - Contract Catering | £15.50/hr (£32,240) | Work-Life Balance | Winchester
Step into a fast-paced, rewarding kitchen role with a leading contract catering company in Winchester, serving 100+ covers daily at a busy, bulk catering site.
?? Shifts: 5/7, 35+ hrs/week, paid overtime ?? Hours: Early (5/6am-2:30pm) or Late (11pm-7:30am) ?? Weekends:1 in 3 only
What You'll Bring:
* Solid understanding of fresh produce, HACCP & kitchen operations
* Experience across various cuisines and high-volume cooking
* Strong organisation, self-drive, and team spirit
* Calm under pressure, always pushing for quality
Your Role:
* Lead kitchen prep, service and standards
* Supervise staff and maintain hygiene best practices
* Support dietary requirements and customer needs
* Take pride in every plate and contribute fresh ideas
Must-Haves:
* Chef experience in busy kitchens
* Food hygiene & allergen training
* Health & safety knowledge (training provided)
